Role Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Data Center Project Manager to lead and deliver mission-critical infrastructure initiatives for our client. The ideal candidate is a PMI-certified professional (PMP) with a proven track record in managing complex, end-to-end data center projects — from new builds and hardware upgrades to migrations and consolidations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive project plans (WBS, schedules, risk tracking, etc.).

  • Oversee infrastructure and data center initiatives — new builds, expansions, upgrades, and migrations.

  • Coordinate across security, network, storage, and application workstreams.

  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of hardware, cabling, and configuration.

  • Track and report milestones, risks, and dependencies through regular executive updates.

  • Ensure adherence to data center standards, operational policies, and security guidelines.

  • Oversee budgets, resources, and vendor deliverables to maintain cost and schedule control.

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure seamless transition to operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of PMI-certified project management experience.

  • 12+ years managing large-scale infrastructure / data center projects.

  •  Strong technical understanding of servers, storage, networking, cabling, power, and cooling.

  •  Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

  •  Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors.

  •  Strong risk, budget, and dependency management skills.

  •  Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools.

Certifications Required: PMP (Project Management Professional) and PgMP
